On the night of Tuesday 30/05 to Wednesday 31/05 our Cloud Platform in Antwerp will be upgraded to the latest version.
In order to comply with latest Xen hypervisor updates and storage support we will have to reboot all hypervisors. This will cause unavailability of all VM's.
The main reason the update follows quickly after the previous upgrade, is that there was a serious bug detected in the current version, which could lead to bad I/O performance.
This was fixed in the latest version.
22:00 -> The Control Panel will be upgraded to the latest version. CP will be unavailable, this will have no impact on running VM's.
01:00 -> All VM's and Hypervisors will be shutdown as fast as possible.
-> Once all HyperVisors have been shutdown, they will be booted again with the latest version.
-> Gradual bootup of all VM's.
-> Final checkup of platform.
03:00 -> All HV's should have been upgraded and all VM's should have been booted.
We will do our utmost best to reduce downtime of VM's to atmost 1 hour.
